ship within one business day. Orders by check will take a little
longer. Shipping time is usually just a few days.

Shipping is free and is via US Mail. Express shipping options

What do I do if I want to change my order?
E-mail your name, e-mail address, the order number, and new changes

of the changes as soon as they are processed. If we have already
sent out your original order, please refuse the package from UPS
and it will be returned to us at no additional cost to you. Any
opened packages are subject to our return policy.

All orders are shipped by US Mail or UPS and are fully insured.

Yes, you can. We need the correct billing address and the order

for purchases made outside the state of Utah. International orders
may require special taxes, but we are unable to estimate the costs.

What does 14k mean?
Gold is an alloy (a mixture of various metals) and the karats
define the percent of pure gold in the alloy. The karat scale
ranges from 1 to 24 - 24 karat gold is considered 99.9% pure gold.
To calculate the percentage of pure gold that is yielded, divide
the karat of your jewelry by 24 (i.e. 14K gold: 14/24=0.583=58.3%
pure gold). Take note that you may sometimes see the percentage
of pure gold stamped onto a piece of jewelry instead of its karat.
For example, 10K gold is sometimes stamped .417.
Are all items in stock?
Most silver items are in stock. Gold pieces are created upon receipt
of your order.
Do you make or design custom jewelry?
We do not make or design custom jewelry. However, we have access
to hundreds of animal jewelry designs by the same designers. If
you do not see the item you want on our site please contact the
sales department at info@theanimaljewelrystore.com with a description
of what you are looking for.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
We guarantee that every credit card transaction you make with

What if there is an item that is mis-priced?
Should an item ever be mis-priced, we will notify you by e-mail.
If the correct price is lower than the listed price, we will refund
the difference. If the correct price is higher than the listed
price, we will offer you a 10% discount off the correct price
up to a maximum of $50.
How do I care for my gold jewelry?
To clean gold jewelry, dilute mild dishwashing liquid with water.
Mix 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of water in
a bowl. Loosen dirt by soaking jewelry for 15 minutes. Use a soft
brush to remove dirt. If necessary, carefully use a toothpick
to clean crevices. Rinse with clean water. If you rinse in a sink,
make sure to close the drain. After cleaning, always make sure
your jewelry is dry before you put it away. Metal jewelry should
be stored separately, so pieces cannot come in contact and scuffing
of their surfaces can be avoided. It is recommended to remove
jewelry before bathing and grooming. Hair spray, make-up, moisturizer,
perfume, and soap can leave a dull film on jewelry. Harsh cleaners
of any kind, including chlorine bleach, should never be used on
jewelry.
